CHILD EVANGELISM TRAINING

January-February

Children's Ministries is teaming up with the Evangelism Department to provide training on how to have your children involved in your church's evangelistic plans. The theme this year is "Try Something New". We will be sharing how to use children's church as an evangelistic tool to reach out to your community through the "Adventure Church" model. Free resources and books will be available.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL WORKSHOPS

March-April

With Vacation Bible School season coming in the summer months, Children's ministries provides workshops on the NAD-Written VBX program. The theme this year is Jamii Kingdom! Come be a kid for the day and  Experience a session of VBX. Discover what makes this VBX unique from other Vacation Bible Schools. Find out how to carry out the program and train your own volunteers, then discuss how to have effective followups after your program.  

SABBATH SCHOOL LEADERSHIP TRAINING

May-July

Our Department provides training events for Sabbath School leaders in Beginner, Kindergarten, Primary and Juniors. We will be connecting a support network of leaders for each division so that you may talk to one another about how you are teaching.  We also provide information on how to understand and use Sabbath School curriculum and customize it to your Church's needs.

ADVENTUERER CLUB CROSS TRAINING

August

TX Adventurer Club Ministries has a network of  leaders in place that provides training for Adventurer Club Directors, Master Guides, teachers, parents, and volunteers. Their training events are held yearly in connection with Pathfinder Club Ministries/TX Youth. Find out how to start and lead an Adventurer club in your church and how this ministry reaches the hearts and minds of our families.

NAD CHILDREN"S MINISTRY CERTIFICATION

September-October

The North American Division provides a Children’s Ministries Leadership Certification program used for instructing local church leadership in how to organize programs, teach children, nurture them and meet their needs. Texas Conference follows the tracts as listed on the NAD website and provides seminars twice a year at our retreats. When the materials are completed by the participants, a certificate from the division will be given.

HOME AND FAMILY OUTREACH WORKSHOPS

November-December

Children's Ministries is teaming up with the Family Ministries department to provide a fun and engaging day of activities for your family. Our focus will be on rediscovering family worships. You and your children can enjoy connecting through hands-on games, family worship ideas, and fun Bible challenges all designed to encourage you to bring worship back into your home.
